Teaching & Mentorship

As an educator, my self-location informs my teaching pedagogy and style of mentorship and supervision. At the heart of my teaching practice is a deep respect for Indigenous worldview and critical decolonial thinking and praxis. I situate my teaching in intersecting fields of Indigenous research, educational leadership, Indigenous studies and Indigenous social work. I currently teach in the Master's Indigenous Relations and Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work programs at Laurentian University. I am open to working with graduate students in mutual areas of interest.
